Let us have a look at the glamorous appearance of Madonna and Abbie Cornish at the 68th Venice International Film Festival arranged by La Biennale di Venezia on August 31st which was oriented at promoting various aspects of international cinema such as art and entertainment.
Madonna who can be presented as the singer which turned into a director made her stepping on the red carpet a remarkable one thanks to a Vionnet gown coming along with a pair of Miu Miu cat glasses in red frames. The hot red butterflies flitting about on a light grey background put in evidence the slender curves of Madonna. The neck and shoulder area evidenced with some folds as well as the trail of the dress make it look somewhat airy, weightless and a bit fairy. The outfit was underlined with the addition of some bracelets and a pair of long dangling earrings.
It is also worth to note the evening attire of the Australian actress Abbie Cornish, which played in Madona’s movie. She was dressed for the red carpet premiere in a fishtail corset gown without straps and with a long trail. The gown was designed by Atelier Versace and belongs to the Spring collection 2011. The color was breathtaking graduating from purple into black. The thin scallops ornament worked stunning and produced a fish scale effect. The actress looked fairly dazzling and voluptuous.
The next day, September 1st, Abbie Cornish joined Madonna again for the “W.E.” photocall and premier during the 2011 Venice Film Festival. Both ladies opted for the simple black dresses. Madonna wore a black and white L’Wren Scott dress and Yves Saint Laurent pumps while Abbie Cornish wore a lovely geometrically shaped cap-sleeve dress by Elie Saab from the Ready to Wear 2011 collection. Abbie’s outfit was accented with a modest close-fitting necklace, a black clutch and a pair of peeptoe satin pumps.
